Q:

We will be in Las Vegas this weekend and are wondering what casinos will be having fireworks on the Strip.

A:

Aha! There's an easy one. As we mentioned in Today's News just the other day (June 27, to be precise), this has long been a QoD FAQ. So much so that as of last year, rather than compiling one QoD that then needed to be endlessly revisited and updated as the big weekend drew nearer, we now include July 4 in our "Special Events" feature (on the home page, among other places), with a dedicated section that enables you to search by party, concert, firework display etc. Check it out out right here.

One thing we've noticed this year is that as the whole Las Vegas pool scene gets bigger and bigger, the number of poolside events has multiplied. Hence, if you're interested in taking a dip or spotting a celebrity or both, while you watch the fireworks, our Cool Pools feature is well worth perusing, too, for more details on that scene.

If you won't be here but would like to watch, you could try the Webcam option. We can't guarantee which ones are in working order at any time, or in which direction some may be pointing, but it's certainly worth a shot. Here's the link to our complete Vegas Webcam listings.

However you choose to celebrate Independence Day in Sin City, have fun and be safe!

Tomorrow's question
Las Vegas has some elaborate and unusual public restrooms. Can you detail some of the unique spots to squat?

Daily email alerts
If you are not receiving the daily QoD email alert, it's almost certainly a problem with your Internet provider "spamming" our email. One way to attempt to solve this is to add our email address to your email contact list (Click here for instructions), so that your provider will recognize us as a legitimate sender. Please add "golhelp@lasvegasadvisor.com" to your address book and/or approved recipient list. If you do this and still encounter problems, please let us know and we will attempt to help by other means. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.
