“I think it's a false notion, in the sense that you're not going to have much of an impact, given the size of the gasoline tax on the total cost of the gallon of gas." -- Vice President Dick Cheney -- of all unlikely people -- dismissing the gas-tax 'holiday' supported by Sens. Hillary Clinton ... and John McCain.
For one brief, shining moment, Cheney is right. The gas tax "holiday" is a purely political ploy that would have little or no positive impact on the wallets of everyday motorists. Now he can go back to being plain old Evil Dick.
