No furry felines reside at Las Vegas Advisor, but we have joined the wonderful world of Twitter. If you sign up, our online alter ego lva_miguel (long story) will update you on Questions of the Day, blog postings, Today's News items, polls, etc. We're still debating which LVA features to "tweet" (or to "twat," as Stephen Colbert memorably put it) and you might say we're "taking requests" on that front.
Not to worry. These are automated "twats," not customized ones. Which means I shan't be Tweet-ing you to break the news that I just ate two Pop-Tarts or whatever. The phenomenon of Internet exhibitionism, whether in the form of Webcams, MySpace pages or sending minute-by-minute Twitter reports of how bad Criss Angel's Cirque du Soleil show is (as if that information wasn't already old hat all the way out to Centauri Prime), is something that I regard with a fair degree of bewilderment. But one must adapt or go the way of the dinosaurs.
Heck, I was naively surprised when a Rio employee recognized me on sight -- such are the perils of blogging. We should have stuck with that Dr. Evil Stiffs & Georges avatar while we had the chance ...
Also, our tech guru, Dale, argues that "twat" constitutes the perfect past tense of "tweet": to have tweeted. I defer to his superior grammatical knowledge.
