I haven't read the transcript or seen the press conference, but I thought I saw that the coroner said it wasn't drug abuse that caused the issue, which in my opinion is a fairly unique statement in that the coroner isn't really able to determine that from a toxicology report, especially considering he refused to answer any questions relating to the drug's use and anything else related to the report. I guess as a whole we just have to make the assumption that it was an unprescribed O.D since they don't want to provide any details. I guess in truth it doesn't really matter, after all he paid the ultimate price if it was illicit use. Sad really overall, with or without the facts.
IMO, the public has a right to know who was writing Danny Gans' scrips. If there's some reckless practitioner out there, we need to know who it is.
Excellent point and I can agree with that, especially considering it could have been done based on celebrity. No reason doctor's shouldn't be held to the laws in place for prescriptions and such.
