O'Day meltdown at "Peepshow"

Do you think that Peepshow's producers are just maybe beginning to regret hiring loose cannon Aubrey O'Day? The former insta-band member canceled her second-ever performance of Peepshow because somebody (surprise, surprise) snapped a photo of her, topless, and posted on -- where else? -- the Internet. And don't bother Googling it because Ms. O'Day's lawyers have done a very efficacious job of banishing said photo into cyber-Siberia. The lady's apologia pro tantrum sua is a doozy:

O'Day's finger-wagging might carry more authority were it not coming from someone who flaunted her birthday suit in Playboy magazine (where she actually looked much less attractive than in the supposedly sans-makeup video confessional). Also, if you're going to show your "naughty bits" to the public and charge good money for the privilege of seeing them, one's physical appearance becomes fair game. (And, besides, name one intelligent person who cares what Perez Hilton thinks.)

Anyway, Ms. O'Day might want to enjoy Las Vegas while she still can, because in three months (or less) she's going to be Aubrey O'Who?

If you want to see a good show, skip the trainwreck at Planet Hollywood and head on up to CSN, where -- for the next two weekends -- Reefer Madness: The Musical is the best entertainment money can buy.

mike_ch's Gravatar I found said photo on two different places in five minutes, so no, I don't think that's a genie that goes back in the bottle.

I didn't know who the heck she is before this, or why she gets all this grief, though apparently it has something to do with not getting along with Holly Madison? Who cares? They're both bimbos.

If you think a lot of this isn't deliberate then I have a bridge to sell you. Boob shows are generally solid performers but never the main draw for a resort, but the media can't go a month without talking about Peepshow. It gets more press than any of the naughty bits shows (which are generally thought of as tired and less racy in a town full of strip clubs) I've ever seen set up shop here.

You certainly never see all this noise for Fantasy.

David Howes's Gravatar I wasn't going to say anything, but what the heck.

Pseudo celebrities are known for "planting" stories to get attention. This has been going on for years in the entertainment world.
Could O'Who's agent have been the one to snap the picture and posted it so A o'Who could comlpain thus drawing attention?
So, if it wasn't for the BOOBs who'd care?

Jeff in OKC's Gravatar I like breasts. I find breast focused shows to be entertaining. In fact, I find them to be more entertaining than a show about some disfigured dude hiding in a theater, or creepy clowns and acrobatic odd figures and characters. Breast shows are a Las Vegas staple, and as long as people want to gamble, get drunk and have sex, they will continue to be so. And half the fun of looking at boobies is the silly drama associated with the ladies vanity who want to show their boobies to all the world. LONG LIVE BOOBIES!!!

David McKee's Gravatar Were the actual "Peepshow" as good as its publicity stunts, it would be the greatest stage spectacle ever seen in Vegas.
