I really appreciate all the kind comments I’ve received from people responding to my new blog. I’m always glad to hear from kindred frugalites! However, I’m no longer able to respond to each post I get – mail duty has taken over too much of my life just at the time my doctor says I just must cut down my time at the computer. However, I assure you that I read all my mail and I plan to answer many of your questions here in this blog. Usually, if you have a question, there are scores more who would profit from hearing the answer.

Many times people ask questions that the answers are given in one of the four Frugal books I have written, with much more detail than I could give in one blog entry. Gambling questions so often involve so many complex issues that I can’t give a short silver-bullet answer. For example, someone might ask how he or she can get more comps. In More Frugal Gambling it took me 86 pages to discuss that. Or, people want to know how they can play video poker and lose less. It took me the whole book Frugal Video Poker to cover all the good ideas I have on that subject.

Now there is one category of questions that my books may not specifically answer for you: What particular games or casinos or slot clubs are best? There is not one slot club or one game or one anything in or connected to a casino that is the best choice for every player. I couldn’t even answer this type of question in any personal e-mail, because it depends on so many factors – your bankroll amount, your goals in a casino, how much time you want to spend studying and practicing, etc.   These questions take much individual research and study on your part. In future blog entries I will be giving some recommendations of resources that I use to help Brad and me stay successful at gambling.
