Recently the Palazzo temporarily put back some 9/6 Jacks or Better on a few higher-denomination video poker machines after having decimated the total VP inventory a couple of months earlier.
A friend e-mailed me: “I was lucky enough to snag one of the good machines and play for awhile. An unofficial waiting line for the five playable machines had formed by the time I left. Sort of reminded me of one of those National Geographic specials on TV where the vultures are waiting for the lions to finish devouring the antelope before they get a chance to pick the bones clean.”
(Don’t make a special effort to come in and be certain that you will be able to play these machines. They appear and disappear on no particular schedule that you can count on!)
