Stations Players Club Update

QWhen are they going to combine points for Fiesta and Stations? I have a mil points at Fiesta and have to go to the Rewards Centers at Stations to get comps at their restaurants.

A: The plan to integrate the Fiestas into the Station players club has been ditched. Stations has decided to make the Fiestas an independent unit and market it separately. Right now you can get many comps by cross swapping of points, but there have been reports of difficulties in doing this at every casino and for every kind of comp. And eventually, we are told by Station employees, the players club points will not transfer back and forth between Stations and Fiestas when they become entirely separate. There are rumors that this might be a plan to get the Fiestas ready for a possible sell-off.

Some Station changes, from my friend Mac:

#1:  All levels are now good for six months (vs. the one year previously).  When your six months is up, you will need to have "earned" the tier again within the last three months.

Example:  Earned in January, you have the tier until July.  In July  they look back at your last three months (April, May, June) and you must  have played at or above the level to keep it another six months.

#2:  Tier requirement for Platinum increased from 60,000 to 75,000. At all other levels the point requirements remain the same.
