Gaming Book
I would like to recommend an e-Book I just read, Legends of Blackjack: True Stories of Players who Crushed the Casino by Kevin Blackwood and Larry Barker. I have met many of the blackjack legends featured in this book and I’ve been personal friends with some of them; yet, I still discovered new and fascinating details about their rise to fame that I didn't know about prior to reading this book. (Including a few new details about our boss around here, Anthony Curtis!)
If you love to read, as I do, about players who have been very successful at winning money gambling in a casino, you will love reading this book. I find inspiration in such stories, and especially enjoy reading how their early life and non-gambling activities show the kind of personality and skills needed in their gambling craft,
You can go to the publisher’s Web site, http://www.bjinsider.com/LOB.shtml, to read more information about the book, including the Table of Contents and the list of the blackjack legends covered in the book. You can also read a sample chapter from the book that describes the true life-story of George Hascik, who later became the leader of the famous Czech blackjack team that won a staggering quarter million dollars from Resorts International Casino in Atlantic City when they first opened. I predict that once you read this chapter, you will be hooked and want to read the entire book.
The book is only available digitally. As soon as you order the e-book, you can download it to your computer, and either print it or read it directly. The book costs $14.95.
