Sinning Downgraded in Sin City?

Suddenly it’s all over the news – on TV and in newspapers: Maybe Sin City should try being a little less sinful?

Metro Makes Prostitution, Drug Arrests at Rio's Topless Pool

Regulators to casinos: Clean up act

County to Prive: Time to call it a night

Hummmmmm. All this after my July 6th rant about debauchery at the Hard Rock’s Rehab Pool party.   Do the city fathers or gaming regulators (are they the same?) read my blog?

Aw…probably not!

Matt's Gravatar For an outsider, it seems like there isn't a lot management creativity in Vegas. When they thought the thing to do was family, everyone did family. When they thought it was sin, everyone did sin.

I'm sure to some extent there are definite trends that need to be followed to some extent. But for a city that revolves around gambling, I'd think the people in charge would know better than to go "all in" on every hand.

Some people, like Steve Wynn, seem to find a balance.

Steve Kallis's Gravatar Good for you Jean. I'm sure you comments had an impact. Never sell yourself short or anyone willing to make a stand for what they believe in.
