non guests goin gto pool - KathyG (07/24/2011)
My husband and I went to the Shark pool last Sunday on his birthday and was told that it was open to hotel guests only on weekends. I chose not to argue the issue and we left, but I thought if there was poolside gaming the hotel had to let you in. My suggestion would be to call ahead for any of the hotel pools. FYI, the reason we went to the Golden Nugget was because we had stayed at the Rumor Resort on Saturday night and the pool staff there had told us that Sunday was "gay" day and we probably not want to be there.

Great but can be crowded - Aqua21 (05/14/2011)
It doesnt get any better than this pool experience! Get there early though because it gets crowded. The pool, the aquarium, the adult sundeck w/pool there's something for everyone. I stick to the adult sundeck/pool because I don't have kids. Also enjoy the blackjack tables around the pool.

Don't know why this pool is in the category of being a topless pool, because it's not.

Great Fun - drasticdave (10/14/2008)
The pool at the Golden Nugget is a one of a kind. It has a shark tank in the center of the pool, and a waterslide. The water was heated to a very comfortable temperature. The only negative would be that there is no place to really swim. It is more for splashing around, and sunbathing.

Pool Fees - cawalsh1970 (06/21/2008)
The correct fee is $20 for adults and $10 for children

Golden Nugget pool - jskryp (05/20/2008)
The $30 million dollar rennovation was worth every nickel. The waterslide is an added bonus for this beautiful complex. The pool area is busy even when the pool is closed. In August 2007, we enjoyed the pool almost every day in the hot desert sun.

Great pool - Lougene (05/12/2008)
The Tank is a really cool pool. An aquarium full of fish and yes sharks right in the middle of the pool. Gives a new meaning to "swimming with the fishes". Very nice, comfy lounge chairs and even some shaded areas for when it gets really too hot. Absolutely lovely!
