Q:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

A:

This is one of the few days of they year when QoD puts its feet up and kicks back for a change, and we figure many of you are probably pretty busy today, too, so we'll keep this brief.

We'd like to wish all our readers, old and new, a very happy and safe Thanksgiving. Thanks for the great thought-provoking questions you continue to send in; for all the "Update" feedback you take the time to send us; and for your responses to our regular Reader Polls. Last but by no means least, thank you for all the kind generous words you provide throughout the year, not to mention the frequent laughs we enjoy courtesy of our more amusing fans. We're grateful to you all. Don't eat too much and we'll see you tomorrow, same time, same place!

Tomorrow's question
A question for Bob Dancer. OK, I'm basically a quarter single-line video poker player. I've had a fairly successful visit to Las Vegas so far. My question is, if I would like to take a stab at a higher denomination say 50¢ or $1, which is the better game to pick: Jacks or Better, Bonus Poker, Double Bonus, Double Double Bonus, Deuces Wild, or something else? I know paytables matter a lot. But which actual game would you try on the last day of your visit to try to hit something special?
