PRETTY GOOD ! - vegas0032 (07/17/2014) - 3.5 out of 5 stars
You guys quit hammering the silverton buffet... we did the 2fer1 ... had not been there for a long time. Was not like it used to be , but was not too bad... food was hot and they kept the buffet clean and the peel shrimp was very good ... the fish tacos they make were good too ... Overall it was a pretty good buffet and would go back ... especially with the 2fer1 coupon ...

Better than expected - JP1979 (04/26/2014) - 3 out of 5 stars
Seeing the bad reviews, expected awful, but it was a comp so, "what the heck; I can get salad and coffee" for lunch. It wasn't too bad. Good salad stuff, inc artichoke hearts. OK fried chicken (after pulling off heavy breading) and good roast beef--more tender than the Palms, which was so tough it was inedible. So-so sides and desserts, but an accommodating staff and no wait at all, tho it was an early 11:30. Not worth the full price, but good if comped or discounted.

Awful Stay Away - Lineaway (02/09/2014) - 1 out of 5 stars
I really wanted to like this buffet. We were comped and went last fri. nt. I like this casino and was planning to stay here next trip. But I need to eat and the Buffet was horrid. Sent plates of food back as I couldn't even eat it. I would have rated this a 1/2 star if I could.

I'd rate the experience poor if it wasn't so bad - sin city bob (01/08/2014) - 1 out of 5 stars
Monday is 50% off for Seniors, that being said I drove down and got on line, counted 47 people ahead of me 23 had already paid and were waiting to be seated, that left 24 ahead of me most were parties of 2 I was a party of one... I could see NUMEROUS empty tables...got on line to pay at 12:57....paid for my food at 14:22...that's 1 hour and 25 minutes standing on line ... was seated at 15:04...that's 3:04 PM...TWO HOURS AND & MINUTES for the staff to cashier the 47 people ahead of me and get them seated....took the "server" 11 minutes to find me...and take my order...he brought my beverage...picked up the Tip Chit (I put his tip on my CC) and I NEVER SAW HIM AGAIN.... saw NUMEROUS tables for 4 with one or two people at them...wouldn't be bad except NOW THE LINE AT THE CASHIER WAS LIKE 150 PEOPLE LONG...and ALL those tables for 4 were tables for 2 pushed together...when I asked why didn't they split them and seat more people...I was told "DON'T TELL US HOW TO DO OUR JOB!"...I said well someone should because y'all suck at customer service... The food for the most part is OK...nothing special you can do better at a lot of other casino buffets like the South Point...got some peel and eat shrimp and it was cold, but MUSHY and smelled like fish which means it was going bad...fresh seafood has no odor...and fresh shrimp are firm...when I brought it to the attention of a floor supervisor I was told "IT'S THE FRESHEST SEAFOOD IN LAS VEGAS" who brain washed her??? obviously they do not know seafood which now makes me suspect of everything they have... when I finished my plates and was leaving (STILL NOT HAVING SEEN MY SERVER OR HAVING MY DRINK REFILLED) there were about 40 people on line ... AND ... NO ONE IN THE CASHIERS BOOTH...40+ people waiting and no one there to help them...go to South Point Or find a Station Casino or maybe Sam's Town...you'll be WAY AHEAD OF THE GAME!!! This was my 2nd try at the Silvertons Buffet...now I know it is my last

Dinner at the Silverton - iltu66 (06/02/2013) - 3.5 out of 5 stars
We had read of good and bad performances before we went to the Silverton. Seems we were lucky to pick a good day when we went for Dinner on Saturday. Everything was clean, the service fast and friendly. It is not the biggest of all buffets, but sufficient variety and everything was OK with the food.
