Just ok - roycpa (07/24/2010) - 3 out of 5 stars
Being from IL, and having eaten at the founder's original restaurant in Murphysboro, IL, I was fairly disappointed with the results here. We were a party of 4 and ate here on the 4th of July. The sides were good - the rib sampler platters with 3 types of ribs, were not so good. Tasted like they were overdone and somewhat burnt. The beef rib was just not good. The baby backs were dry, and the regular pork ribs just average. Mike Mills (founder) would not have served the BBQ we got if he had been there. Roy

Not The Best - B Brutus Bear (07/10/2010) - 2 out of 5 stars
Over the last eight years I have eaten here at least six times. The last, in September of 2009 most likely will be the last. What was once a "Championship" stop has become a "Don't Bother Any Longer". The pulled pork sandwich was dry and tough like it had been under a heating lamp too long. My friend had a "sampler" platter and found it to be less than adequate --- dry, lacking taste and disappointing. We did speak with out waiter who seemed eager to help but fell on his sword with not much fanfare --- replaced out problem with more problems. We look at each other ... finished what we dared and said "never again". The restaurant was not full and we didn't have to wait more than a minute to be seated on arrival. It's too bad --- the once proud and enjoyable restaurant no longer exists.

Love dem ribs - Westie (12/25/2009) - 3 out of 5 stars
This small chain of BBQ restaurants is considered by many to be the best Las Vegas has to offer. Ann received a 2/1 coupon valued up to $20 shortly before we departed from home. This one did not require the purchase of an equal or greater value entree so I chose one of the least expensive meals, pork shoulder, while she ordered a rack of babyback ribs. Mine was bland so I added copious amounts of BBQ sauce. The ribs were very meaty, flavorful and tender. Each entree came with 2 sides, we chose macaroni and cheese (very good), green beans (right out of a can), collared greens (ugly) and red beans and rice (okay).
