"THE BEST" - ALASKAMAN (08/21/2009) - 5 out of 5 stars
Got an Email from "M" with discount rates for August so I made a reservation.Just got back from two days at the "M" Resort.(Wednesday, August 19 to Friday August 21, 2009)
It's the best hotel/casino I have ever seen! Everything was great. Checked in Early Wednesday (2 Pm.) My King non-smoking room wasn't ready so they upgraded me at to a "Strip View" room at no extra charge. There were plenty of $5 blackjack tables, the best buffet in town for your money, $1 draft beers at happy hour and they comped my buffet at Studio for my time playing blackjack. Checked out the pools this morning and they are great too. But what sets "M" apart from all the other places I've stayed is the personnel. All are highly trained and all are doing everything they can to make your stay the best experience you can have. My new favorite in Las Vegas.

Few $5 blackjack tables. no discounts on rooms. As previously mentioned, $25 "RESORT" fee added to room rates. CALL ME WHEN YOU ARE READY TO DEAL!
M Casino and Terzetto Steakhouse - alaska steve (04/17/2009) - 4.5 out of 5 stars
I made my annual visit to Las Vegas and had to check out the new "M" resort. I liked it very much along with my family. I had a little luck on the slots and mostly played VP at the sportsbook bar with limited success. The casino is very clean and the staff very friendly. I played a little over 5 hours and earned $7 dollars cash back on their players card. We ate at Terzetto's and it was very good. Don't eat a big lunch since the steaks are big. Everything is a la carte and expect to pay between $50-$60 a head with a couple of drinks. Also ask to eat out on the patio over the swimming pool since the view northward is facing the Strip in the distance. I stayed on the strip $50 for 6 days and nights at Harrah's and with the money saved on room rates used it on a rental car to visit different properties. The M was our favorite place this year and I imagine the good deals will be gone once the economy turns around and more people visit. Expect long lines at the Buffet (we didn't eat there) but saw the crowds. Also the waiter told us you can have unlimited beer/wine etc. in the Buffet which would make it a good value for those that drink. Also, self serve softdrinks etc. in the casino which is handy. Be sure to sign up for the players card great cash back for the time being!
Strip location??? - MaryW. (04/10/2009) - 3 out of 5 stars
It is very nice inside and the buffet was very good. I, however, live out by the Suncoast/Rampart and will not be visiting it on a regular basis. Way too far from us. I wish it well. It is more of a locals place for those in Henderson.
Resort Fee Obnoxious - bigtigger (04/06/2009) - 3 out of 5 stars
I predict a short life for M - or at least for its obnoxious "Resort Fee" - Get real, here, folks: $25 a night per room for wireless access (makes business centre fees look reasonable), maid turn-down service (what a good hotel provides anyway), fitness centre (don't use) and a newspaper (worth $1 at the most) and free local and 800 calls (limited utility - most of us want to call home or office which is LD anyway and have a cell to do so). If M needs to raise its room rates by $25 to break even, by all means to do and see what the market will bear. But this sort of nonsense is the sort of thing that engenders ill will which I would have thought the LAST thing a new casino wants given the current economy.

The casino is very alive and everyone can feel it. The employees are super friendly.
Studio B buffet - Richard K (03/04/2009) - 5 out of 5 stars
I am a local here in Las Vegas and if you knew me you would know that I love buffets. I have been to just about every one here in Las Vegas and the surrounding area. I had lunch at the Studio B buffet in the M-Resort today (03-02-2009). Cost $10.95 without players club card and $8.95 with card. Excellent atmosphere & dining area, clean as can be . The selection, quality, and presentation were all excellent and the food was hot and fresh. - staff was courteous and pleasant. Excellent sushi bar (does not taste as if it came out of the refrigerator). Crab legs were great, shrimp is large, fresh and DRY, not wet. Lobster was little bland but otherwise good. Salad bar is excellent, excellent carved meat selection, excellent selection of gelato ice-creams and all the desserts were unsurpassed in succulent quality.
This buffet is far above any of the other buffets that line the strip and the outlaying areas. The price is right and the quality is there. Go for it whether you’re a local here or just visiting, you’ll not be sorry that you did. This is indeed a 5 star buffet.
