My wife & I have been going to vegas for last 8 years at leaste 1 time/yr. Learned about the 4.95 steak from LVA..wife & loved it! The ^.99 is now a great value..like the beer! We usually stay at Ballys and almost eat exclusively at Ellis Island...Great Value..Great Food..I always play the $5.00 cupon for black jack...not unusal to win & pay for meal!! I love the place!! Best food value we have been able to find!

Ate at Ellis Island 3 times during our recient trip. $6.99 for a complete steak dinner and a 20oz microbrew...Great steak, great beer, great prices..Felt like we were stealing...Highly recomended..

What a great value. We asked for the steak and beer special for $6.95 and it was great. I am not a beer drinker so I had the root beer which was wonderful. Excellent service and have recommended to everyone that I know that is going to Vegas.

I love this place. A great break when the Strip gets too hoity-toity and the Deuce is too full to head downtown, it's nice to be able to kick back in a relaxed environment and play a little. Nothing like the $6.98 steak & brew dinner - tasty, filling & cheap - before heading to the slots or to the bar for great specials. Though their sports book isn't worth a special trip, the BBQ and beer is. Just Ma & Pa Vegas - enjoyable and easy on the wallet.

We went to this place and asked for the steak dinner. Everything you have to ask for. We asked for beers, and finally, the waiter brought two cup of beer. But, when the check was sent to our table, it shown $2 for each cup of beer. I had to talk to the waiter on this charge, he reluctantly removed the charge.

My wife and I go to Vegas twice each year for a week each time, and never fail to stop at Ellis Island (ususally two or more times). The prime rib is very good,if anyone uses coupons, they have some great deals, the beer excellent, and the slots have been very favorable for us. The last time we had 2 prime ribs and drinks,I gave the waiter my players card to use up the points and was given a total bill of $1.50 for the evening. We'll be stopping back Jan 09.

We make it a point to stop by this close local gem every time we visit. The video poker is the best. Always can find our 9/6 JOB. End up staying the whole night after our steak dinner. The micro brew light is great. Funny story; we gave the bartender our LVA 1 hour free drinks coupon. I would then tip her $3 for two, she said to me" do you realize these are only $1 without the coupon." How can you beat that. When we bring friends with us we are heros in their book.

we have been coming here for 4-5yrs, we heard about the 4.95 steak dinner (LVA) which is well worth the stop at 6.95 todays rates. all the other meals have been terrific. love the place, the beer, rootbeer, the eggnog and the gambling. It's a must visit on our list of local stops. Don't stop what you do because of the big guys, thanks so much Ellis Island.

Only found this spot about a year and a half ago.
Have been doing Vegas for 25 years. This steak special or the prime rib beats most of the "upper end" steakhouses hands down and I've eaten in damn near every steakhouse in Vegas (past and present).

this has been a stop on every trip since I found it. Always get the Steak special, had the breakfast steak and eggs once (split this, I could not come close to finishing) always play the black jack coupon and usually get the dark ale.

Went there for the steak special one night and heard about their other great deals. Ended up going back for breakfast the next day and having the steak and eggs special. That night we went back again and had the barbeque. These are hands down the best food deals left in Las Vegas. The steak special was better than the $25 steak we had the next night at another casino.
The micro-beets are good, not great. Your best bet is to stay with the Pale Ale or the Stout.
Probably won't stay there, but will definitely make at least one trip there for dinner when in town.

My wife and I always make it a point to stop here. The beer is fantastic and the gaming generous. And, the steak and beer special is a deal we can't pass up! Come here for video poker and micro-brewed beer!
