singularly improved - jefflcox (06/13/2016) - 4.5 out of 5 stars
A handful of coupons too good to pass up carried us hesitantly back to Ellis Island. We were wrong to have stayed away. Everything is better now: the video poker, the ventilation, the lighting, even the staff. Impersonator/dealers were playing games with good rules for $5 a hand. "Celine Dion" was maybe better at dealing blackjack than singing, but she was friendly and fun. Ellis Island has gone from bad to great. Huddled masses yearning to have fun will do just fine here.

Phony mailer - waltmarcia (02/03/2016) - 1 out of 5 stars
We received a mailer for a free pizza and beer twice a week for the first time in almost a year. It was a welcome mailer and we went in there yesterday. The place had many more people than usual, so we figured it was because they started doing the pizza and beer promotion again. Well, we were wrong. When the slip for the pizza and beer did not come out when we put our card in the kiosk, I asked the promotions desk and was told that the flyer was a misprint, but they would do it for today only. They were able to hit a key on their computer that would then generate the free slip when we did the kiosk again. Something seems funny. Why would they not just honor their flyer for the month instead of risk the potential ill will they are producing? It reeks of fraud. The place has gone downhill the last few years and this is just one more reason to lesson our visits.

maybe it's great now - Jeffcox (09/20/2015) - 1 out of 5 stars
Despite the strong coupons in the Las Vegas Advisor, I quit going in here. Three years ago, it was smoky, noisy, dingy and full of employees who seemed not to care.
