This property has probably one of the best mix
of slots ever. It has everything from years past
as well as the latest and newest games. I've
found the slot club comps to be less generous
than other Boyd properties though.

Over the years have tried the strip hotels. Moved to the Orleans and stayed there a number of times. When they added the third tower without adding to the support facilities, we took the shuttle to the GC and have been going there for the last 8 years. We go a couple of times a year and have never had a problem. Maybe we're not too picky but we enjoy the mix of locals that play there and other patrons. The staff have always been helpful and the pit employees friendly and helpful. We park my mother-in-law, she's 90, in front of one of the slots and we go off and do our thing. We're not high rollers but we get offers for a couple of nights free, two for me and two for my wife, at least a couple of times a year. The resturants aren't five-star but the prices are reasonable and the quality and quantity are good. We're all going again at the end of October and are looking forward to another enjoyable stay. We always stay on the 9th floor(all smoking)and have tried both the premium(newer) and the standard rooms(older) and sleep well in both. We're retired and don't go to Vegas to sleep. Coffee, Keno, craps, blackjack, poker, they've got it all.

Got two free nights here right before Thanksgiving in 05. Considering who their neighbors are, this place is surprisingly great. Their rooms were spotlessly cleaned, and any problem/request I had was immediately handled to my satisfaction. The staff were gracious and friendly. A definite diamond in the rough that is routinely overlooked in favor of the Rio and Palms.
