Beware!!! - Nastypup (09/20/2009) - 1 out of 5 stars
I am a Total Rewards Diamond Member and I made a reservation 5 months before my trip for a Deluxe Executive Suite. When I arrived at 10:30 AM (well before check-in time), I was told that they didn't have any suites and they were rude. Bait and switch???? So they put us in a small boxy room that was hot. A piece was missing from the internet connection so I had to call computer services. Even with the air conditioner set to 65 degrees, it was still 80 degrees in the room. I called twice and nobody came to fix the problem. Then, a puff of dust blew all over my computer and in my hair. I coughed for hours. Once computer services replaced the missing part, I contacted Harrah's online and immediately received a phone call. They sent up someone to "fix" the air conditioner. When the man opened the compartment for the air conditioner filter, there was at least 2 inches of dust caked on top of the filter!!!! The dust got all over his uniform and all over the room. I was totally disgusted at that point so I called and asked to be transferred to another property. They sent us to the Flamingo. It was wonderful! The room was large, modern and clean. Service in every department was the best I've seen in Las Vegas. I earned 5000 Total Rewards points on my visit and none of it went to Harrah's. I will never go there again.

Stayed 2 nights 5/28 & 5/29 - full_monte_carlo (06/07/2009) - 4.5 out of 5 stars
Our room was quiet and very clean. A little on the small side but plenty of room for two people. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Small TV in the bathroom. Great "Strip" location. Casino was very busy but I had no problem finding a machine to play. Didn't win anything big but didn't lose it all either. Check in was slow going compared to off strip properties.

have read a few Flamingo naysayers recently. Stayed on 14th floor right across from Caesars fountain. Room was mostly clean. I stayed with another guy and did not get maid service every day. Just towels are fine. Cafe service was great. Pool when we found a place was great. Check in/out was fine. If you know what to expect at mid-strip you can't beat this place for the middling player. Oh, gambling s.....cked

Better Than Expected!!! - vpwannabe (04/06/2009) - 4 out of 5 stars
Had rm 2355 in Carnival Tower with view of Mirage Volcano and mountains as requested. Nice, clean, comfortable room. Very quiet and good for a light sleeper like me. Son LOVED being able to open bottom of window and listen to volcano music during eruption. Easy access to tower without having to always walk thru casino. Such a great location and has a Panda Express next door for cheap take out to room. Did not eat at Harrah's d/t other plans. Would definitely choose again!

Good stuff, great location - ThreeD (01/18/2009) - 4 out of 5 stars
Rooms clean and comfortable- plenty of space to stretch out for the average traveler. New bedtop mattress pads are almost too soft though- need a little firmer bed but thats probably just my personal preference. Carnaval Court outside is a blast- just grab your drinks from inside cause they are a bit more pricey from the bartenders outside. They often have 5 dollar blackjack tables outside too- nicely placed under the heaters which is great in January.

fun hotel - yankees386 (12/19/2008) - 4 out of 5 stars
stayed 2 nites in october, nice clean room as always, though on the small size as rooms go.toby keiths is overpriced[6$ a beer] but the bartenders are fast an friendly.not lucky this time but enjoyed my stay.cant beat the location

Lot of Fun Here! - jakecattx (12/06/2008) - 4 out of 5 stars
I have been comped rooms here for many years. I have always enjoyed the fun atmosphere at Harrah's. Last time I stayed here I played BJ everynight in the Toby Keith pit area and had an absolute blast!! The music is great and the female dealers are beautiful and sweet! Love the location at center strip! I always have stayed in a regular room and the rooms are always clean and quiet. Sometimes they even give me a strip view and sometimes it just doesnt work out for me. But who cares? I'm in Vegas baby!!! Also, you have got to check out the great singer/entertainer Cook E. Jarr!! Put $10 in his tip jar and he'll give you a great CD!

No hot water - pdxhal (12/05/2008) - 4 out of 5 stars
On the 4th morning of a 5 day visit, I discovered no hot water in the bathroom (neither shower nor sink). The response from maintenance was swift. She tested the water and agreed with me that the water was tepid at best. Her supervisor arrived, did some checking and then informed me that I had not used the shower faucet correctly - that I had turned it to warm rather than hot. He smirked, walked away and 15 minutes later I had hot water. You would think that after 3 nights I would know how to use the water faucet. There was construction in the tower in which I was staying and probably someone accidentally turned off the hot water. Why not just fess up and apoligize. Why make the guest feel stupid. Otherwise, very nice hotel and casino. Very friendly staff. Hal

almost perfect - St Louis Big Dog (12/05/2008) - 4.5 out of 5 stars
I love everything about this place with the exception of Toby Keith's. It is always way too loud and the food is mediocre at best. Freindly staff, comfortable rooms and a great location on the strip. It's the only place I'll stay.
