5 times and counting - corky999 (10/06/2009) - 5 out of 5 stars
I have stayed with and without wife four times and will never go anywhere else ecept for another MGM property if I have to (Aria). Taking wife, son and his wife, son and my paernts in Dec 09 and everything is comped. 2 bedroom suite, another deluxe room and tickets to the Lion King. I am a middle income guy and MGM/Mirage takes care of their cardholders. My wife loved the suite so much the last time I almost didn't get to gamble. I might regret bringing my parents..lol.

had a great stay.killer pool and the dealers and pit bosses were super friendly. our electronic room lock broke twice causing us to wait for someone to fix it but we were comped $75 if food for the first day and free night for the second, then my wife got an upgraded room the next night after i left. they more than made up for the inconvience. would go back

great pool! - TECramer (06/01/2009) - 4.5 out of 5 stars
I had 2 nights comped the weekend of Tiger Jam, although I didn't attend. My plan was to spend 2 mornings by the pool. Each day I was there when it opened and got a chair right by the wave pool. It was a wonderful retreat! I had a pool view which was really nice because it also gave me a view of the airport, I always enjoy watching the planes take off and land. Really my only complaint is that their dealers don't seem to be too terribly friendly.

This has become our very favorite place to stay and play (and we have sampled a lot). Fabulous suites and even the regular rooms are better than at other properties: very comfortable beds, well-furnished rooms, awesome bathrooms, nice toiletries...all very upscale. Casino is large and has a nice variety of slots and table games. Great dining options, and you don't have to go to the high-end places to get a good meal and good service. If you do have some money to spend, try the mix restaurant on the top floor: exquisite food and service and spectacular views of the Strip. The pool area is rated #1 in Vegas for a very good reason. But MBay's best asset is its people: the staff are friendly, professional, and exceedingly helpful. They treat us very well there and that's what keeps us coming back.

good and bad - body4sal (12/05/2008) - 4 out of 5 stars
I stayed at Mandalay bay for 2 nights during the Thanksgiving holiday. I am little conflicted on this review. My visit had some really good things and bad. First the good...very helpful staff. They gave us spa comps when our room was not ready (spa is GREAT). The buffet was fantastic. The rooms were ok, but I was expecting better. The lighting was awful, but the beds were very comfortable. Our room had a noise coming out of the fan in the air conditioner that would irritate you all night. We called to have it fixed, but no one came. Our room keys did not work the first time. I called to have them brought up to the floor.....25 minutes later I had to go back to desk myself and get new ones. Good thing I had already been to the spa : ) All in all it is a beautiful place and there are some great people working at the hotel. I just think they need to work on the maintenence staff as well as the baggage people.

Overall Experience - rmhern1 (12/01/2008) - 3 out of 5 stars
A fine array of dining establishments. Top notch housekeeping staff. Snippy curt staff at coffee shops. When we questioned our coffee order, a very rude employee said (and there were 6 employees and 3 customers counting us) "you are not the only customers we have". Received same treatment at Raffles. Low employee morale is effecting service

table dealers - ed hageman (09/24/2008) - 3.5 out of 5 stars
stayed at thehotel, was graet best in town, spend my money downstairs at mb.don't think its to much to ask if you gamble a 5 am that the dealers say good morning or so.same at night, the most boring staff on the floor,no small talk just shuffling and take people's money.i,m no big spender(3k)but the folks downtown where great, next time i will pass on mb casino and go to ceasers or bellagio
