Rooms - sixteightvette (05/22/2013) - 3.5 out of 5 stars
We signed up for a special room offer. Unknown to us when you do this you are put in a category where you don't get coffee for your coffee maker. There wasn't any Kleenex in the room. When calling to the front desk to ask for the free coffee packs we were told it would cost us $8 to deliver it to the room. Poor customer service.

OK if Comped - vegasvp (04/26/2013) - 3 out of 5 stars
I stayed four nights at the Rio on a comp I got playing slots for friends last year. My room in the Ipanema Tower was large and had much more room than I needed. The beds fairly new and comfortable. Very good cooling system. Check-in can be excrutiatingly slow with huge lines. Gambling and food are a total ripoff. I spent my time at the Gold Coast next door which has much more reasonably priced food and the video poker there is light years better. I will split my rating: A five for the hotel and a one for the food and gaming.
