Las Vegas has upwards of 135,000 hotel and motel rooms, with another 40,000 or so under construction. Rooms here are the least expensive of any large city or tourist destination in the country, subsidized as they are by the casinos attached to all the major hotels, with motels competing against the casinos. But if that makes it sound easy to find the right one, think again. With nearly 40 million visitors needing beds annually, this town fills up fast.
