Durango is the latest in the long line of Station Casinos. Located in the southwest valley on Durango Drive just south of the 215 Beltway, it opened in December 2023 at a cost of $780 million -- for the casino and a 15-story 209-room hotel tower. Long a locals-casino company, Station is pivoting to the higher-end market and is unabashed about touting Durango as a luxury property with prices to match. It has thousands of slots and hundreds of table games, a chic steakhouse and Mexican eatery, the George sports bar-restaurant and sports book, and the 25,000-square-foot Eat Your Heart Out food hall, featuring Irv’s Burgers from L.A., Prince Street Pizza from New York, Ai Pono Café (Hawaiian), as well as local restaurants Shang Artisan Noodle, Yu-Or-Mi Sushi, and more. All that said, if it's bargains you're looking for, stick with Palace and Boulder Stations.
