The world's largest Super 8 motel (300 rooms) is attached to the small -- but potent -- Ellis Island casino, a long block east of center Strip (at Bally's back door). All rooms and suites provide flat-screen TVs and free wifi. Other amenities include a pool, 24-hour coffee station, guest laundry, free parking for trucks and RVs, and free 24-hour airport shuttle. Ellis Island is famous for the steak special in its coffee shop, on-site microbrewery (that also makes its own root beer), bargain barbecue, and Metro Pizza. The casino is small and smoky, but it's a low-roller haven with continuous promotions.
