This small (120-room) hotel-casino is situated at the confluence of the far southeast corner of Henderson and northwest Boulder City -- at the top of the pass between the Las Vegas and Eldorado valleys -- on U.S. 93/95 just before 95 cuts off south toward Laughlin and Needles, California. Railroad Pass was the third casino to be licensed in the state of Nevada. All the rooms and mini and maxi suites were remodeled in 2016; all have free wifi, and some are pet-friendly. A steakhouse, buffet, and 24/7 coffee shop are available, and the casino has low minimums and a William Hill sports book. There's a small seasonal pool, and the trailhead for the River Mountains Loop, a 34-mile trail completed in 2012, is adjacent to the casino's outdoor recreation.
