An interesting combination of a locals casino and a megaresort, Sunset Station is located in Henderson in the far southeast valley and is close to Lake Mead and Lake Las Vegas. Though the hotel offers only 450 rooms, they're contained in a 21-story tower, so the views are picturesque. The property also boasts a 13-screen movie theater (including IMAX), a 542-seat bingo hall, a 72-lane bowling alley (open 24/7), a Kid's Quest childcare center, a large pool and fitness center, and a 5,000-seat outdoor amphitheater; the huge Galleria Mall is right across the street. The Spanish-styled casino centers around the 140-seat Gaudi Bar, whose own centerpiece is a 6,000-square-foot, 12-ton stained-glass ceiling.
