This resort, right on the Lake Las Vegas waterfront, is 20 miles from the Las Vegas Strip but feels like a different country. Three classes of Moroccan-inspired rooms come with double queen or king beds, flat-screen TVs, free wifi, coffeemakers, and mini-fridges. All suites feature living areas with pull-out sofas; upgraded suites add whirlpool tubs, balconies, Bose stereos, and/or marble fireplaces. Two restaurants and a taco bar provide food. Also available are a day spa, fitness and business centers, and an outdoor pool with views of the lake, cabanas, and poolside snacks, as well as a private sandy beach that serves as a launching point for stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and water bikes. One golf course is right next door, and another is nearby; both were designed by Jack Nicklaus.
