Poll Preview: Restaurants first-time visitors shouldn't miss

We're back in poll mode, at least for the second time this month.

A few weeks ago, we were interested to see that VegasEater posted its top 12 restaurants for first-timers, whether food lovers with a detailed list of restaurants to try or the clueless hoping to stumble into the best places.

Their selections: Golden Steer, Peppermill Lounge, Tao Asian Bistro (Venetian), Bacchanal Buffet and Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen (Caesars), Giada (Cromwell), Mon Ami Gabi (Paris), Michael's Gourmet Room (South Point), Ping Pang Pong (Gold Coast), Tacos El Gordo, Casa Di Amore, and Partage. The list is annotated, so if you want to read Eater's (generic) descriptions, you can

Of course, our list would be somewhat different. We would probably start off with South Point's Garden Buffet, the Ellis Island coffee shop, Siegel's Bagelmania, Lotus of Siam, Secret Pizza, Top of Binion's Steakhouse, and the like.

But we figured we'd get a consensus, so we'd like to hear what y'all consider the best restaurants at which first-time visitors should make a point of eating to gain a true Las Vegas dining experience. List your choices in the comment boxes and we'll compile them into a poll that will open next week.
