Question of the Day — 7 Aug 2019

Reader Poll Preview: Las Vegas steakhouses that give you the best bang for the buck.

Steakhouses won in last week's poll preview; nor did we forget the suggestions for a steakhouse poll in the comments to a QoD we ran about the best five steakhouses in Las Vegas last March 5.

Lounges came in second, then pools, and we got some good suggestions for other surveys, such as favorite players clubs, best day trips, favorite MRB coupons, and major restaurants you ate at once and won't return to. Thank you for all your feedback -- very useful in planning our polls for pretty much the rest of the year.

As for steakhouses, don't ever let it be said that Las Vegas is lacking for them. Not that anyone would: This is the original meat-and-potatoes town, so it's no surprise that the following list contains 69 steakhouses to choose from.

Remember, this is just the poll preview; what we're after today are any carvery, chophouse, or brasserie we've forgotten or overlooked. Also let us know if you think a selection on the list shouldn't be there.

A week from today, you'll vote on the ones you like best, but not just for the quality of the food, ambience/view, wine list, or service, but primarily the value of the food, which combines the preceding criteria with price (and thanks to Friend of LVA Alonthenet, plus Todd Sweet, for suggesting how to qualify this massive poll).

Here are your poll-preview choices.
