Question of the Day — 9 Jul 2024

I don’t mind paying for the LVA, although I haven’t been to Las Vegas since last summer and don’t plan to visit anytime soon. I still enjoy the newsletter. However, as a paid subscriber, I resent that I'm often unable to view the “Vegas News” section, because it's largely covered by a paid advertisement! I've emailed the LVA about this several times. Although they tried to help me, the last time I was told that it must be a glitch with my iPhone, which is where I read LasVegasAdvisor.com. Sooo my question is: Am I the only one with this problem? Please post this as a QoD. If no one else has this problem, I will just have to give up trying to read Vegas News. Of course, this would greatly reduce the value of the membership for me.

Happy to oblige. Is Vegas News covered, in full or in part, on anyone else's iPhone by anything, particularly an ad? 

And while we're at it, because we do hear from time to time from other subscribers having problems with accessing our site or particular pages and posts on it, we'd like to extend the question to all devices. Who has had a problem in the past, or is experiencing one currently, with connecting to our content on a cell phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, or any other electronic implement of the internet?

And if anyone has any suggestions as to why this member's Vegas News section is blocked by an advertisement, either on their end or ours, we'd appreciate hearing them.
