New York-style deli specializing in fresh bagels (with all the fixins), omelettes, deli meats, cheese, fish, and more. An LVA favorite breakfast spot.
This restaurant was reviewed in the June 2005 LVA; some of the information contained in the review may no longer be accurate. This may be the top breakfast spot in town. The special is three eggs, choice of bacon, ham, or sausage patties, home fries, and a bagel for $4.50. It’s great. You can substitute homemade corned-beef hash ($7.50) or get a giant omelet made with just about anything you want ($5.95-$8). Lunch consists of dozens of deli sandwiches—pastrami, brisket, pickled tongue, chopped liver, salami melt—most for $8.25—along with all the soups and sides you’d expect from any great Jewish deli. But we’re featuring BAGELMANIA this month for another reason: This is the best place in town to take out bagels and smoked fish. Here are the prices: Nova or lox $32 lb., sable $23 lb., and whitefish or chubs $12 per pound. Bagels are 70¢ apiece or $7.95 a dozen. BAGELMANIA is about two miles east of Wynn Las Vegas (take Spring Mtn., which turns into Twain); hours are 6:30-3 daily and delivery is available from 7 am to 1:30 pm on weekdays. By the way, two other places near the Strip where you can get a bagel-and-fish fix are Bagels-N-More at 2405 E. Tropicana (east side) and Deli King at 3620 W. Sahara (west side).
