LVA Review

This restaurant was reviewed in the October 2010 LVA; some of the information contained in the review may no longer be accurate. We can’t add much to the Eating Las Vegas review (see next page), but we can throw in a few particulars. The basic Black Angus burger is $9.50 (the price has gone up only 50¢ since our review in 2004). It comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle, so you don’t have to spend any more if you don’t want to. The Nature Choice burger is $10.25 and the buffalo that Mancini advocates is $16.50. In terms of gourmet burgers, these are good prices, considering that the base burgers are $11 at Paris’ Burger Brasserie (though only half that with our MRB coupon) and $9 at the less-vaunted Grind Burger Bar that we reviewed last issue. It’s only when you get into the fancy concoctions and add-ons that you pay the heavier freight (a burger and half a lobster, for example, is $24.50). Curtas mentions the beer selection—there are 24 beers on tap.
