Maxie's Diner is located at the base of the High Roller observation wheel on the LINQ promenade in the space previously occupied by Canter's Deli. The eatery brought to you by the same company that runs Smoked Burgers & BBQ at the Forum Shops has outdoor seating and is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., though it serves only breakfast and lunch. The menu is called "ostentatious," with such curiosities as cotton-candy pancakes ($14), pepperoni pizza omelet ($14), and peanut butter and jelly tacos ($12), along with the more pedestrian bagels and lox, sandwiches, soup, salads, and boxed to-go breakfasts.
