Seasons Buffet

A mid-priced buffet, we've long believed that Seasons is an extremely good value -- and it's even better with LVA's 2-for-1/50%-off coupon. Reviewers agree: Nearly 300 reviews on Yelp average 3-1/2 stars, which is a full star more than almost all similarly priced buffets.

As you can read in the LVA Review, this buffet was revamped in 2006 and after a short shakedown cruise, it's been smooth sailing for more than a decade. The room is spacious and as clean as if it just opened and the service gets the raves from Yelpers.

The standouts are the soups, five kinds on our last visit, plus made-to-order pasta, peel-and-eat shrimp, a big selection of Chinese, Mexican, and barbecue, including ham hocks and greens, and a big station of roasted vegetables. The strawberry shortcake has been a favorite of ours since 2006.

The Saturday luau is extremely popular with Islanders, for good reason -- you'll eat like King Kamehameha. Featured items include the signature suckling pig with crispy skin, ahi poke, sushi,  pork lau lau (wrapped in taro leaves and steamed), lomi lomi salmon, chicken curry, poi (an acquired taste), haupia (traditional coconut milk-based dessert), and more.

LVA Review

This buffet was reviewed in the December 2017 LVA; some of the information contained in this review may no longer be accurate.

After we inadvertently left out Silverton’s buffet in the low-end poll, we were contacted by several customers wondering why. It wasn’t by design, as we rate Silverton’s Seasons as one of the top-value buffets in town, and after going back last month, we found it as recommendable as ever. The room is spacious, clean, quiet, and nicely decorated and the service is responsive. The standout here is the soups, five kinds on our last visit, plus made-to-order pasta, peel-and-eat shrimp, a big selection of Chinese, Mexican, and barbecue, including ham hocks and greens, and a big station of roasted vegetables. For dessert, the make-your-own strawberry shortcake is a local favorite. Get 2-for-1 or 50% off with your MRB voucher.
