Authentic Thai cuisine served as if you were family.
This restaurant was reviewed in the September 2003 LVA; some of the information contained in the review may no longer be accurate. Thai Spice has been Las Vegas’ most popular Thai restaurant for several years. While that’s probably attributable to the availability of several Americanized Oriental dishes—e.g., it does a brisk lunch business on the strength of $5.95 sweet & sour pork, chicken chow mein, and the like—it also offers top-level traditional Thai cuisine. Pad Thai, tom yum, and various curries notwithstanding, the great (and unique) dish at Thai Spice is blackjack noodles, which can be ordered with shrimp, beef, chicken, pork, or vegetables ($7.95-$8.95). Also try the vegetable soup ($3.45), which is as exotically vegetabley as any you’re likely to come across. Almost everything on the menu is less than $10. Thai Spice is open every day except Sunday; it’s located on W. Flamingo Ave., a block west of the Palms.
