The rib eye with soup & salad bar in the Courtyard restaurant at Fitzgeralds is being bundled in a couple of promotions at Fitzgeralds, which you might take as a sign that this meal’s not very good. That’s not the case. Far from the skimpy steaks you often get in these deals, the 10-ounce rib eye is a bit reminiscent of the Ellis Island cut, in that it’s thick enough to cook to specifications. It comes with a baked potato, vegetables, and the all-you-can-eat salad bar with fresh lettuce and fixin’s, plus several side salads (including potato, pasta, and tuna), marinated mushrooms, and fruit. There are also two soups and sometimes desserts (that part’s iffy; the dessert bar is included in the deal, but not always available).
