And I love that it is Veteran’s Day and we can honor the men and women who have served and are serving in the military. I must admit that I am happy that my son-in-law Steve is now safe at home, retired from the Army , but I am proud of grandson Zachary who is taking up where his dad left off. Now in his first year of college at Columbus State University, he is in a combined ROTC and Army National Guard program.
Tomorrow I might take my favorite veteran (USAF – 49-52) out for dinner at one of the casinos that is honoring veterans with a free buffet. Or, probably not – there is nothing this veteran hates more than long lines. But I imagine we have comps somewhere without lines, so we won’t go hungry.
