A near lifetime (pre-retired/retirement) lifetime of gambling would be a lifetime of ‘blogs’ or possibly a book. Thanks for posting. I can definitely see how the ability to move up from .25c to $1 VP (at the time) made sense. I probably will not have those kinds of opportunites– but have avidly been able to apply the principles with good results. Opportunities far fewer—but the few I’ve been able to participate in I am thankful for. *Stray note- Yes “slots’ are fun! It sure takes away the boredom and having to ‘work’/focus mentally on VP vs slot games. I’ll admit – I too strayed once and did just fine. I won $1000 in FREE PLAY at one of those weekly Orleans (ultimate X VP tourney- where earning pts allowed you to play up to 2 sessions I think)- anyhow, I decided I would set aside some of the “$1000” in freeplay to play some slots (pennies, but at max bet higher than I was used to!). I did have fun and hit a few nice bonuses along the way. *If any casino exec is reading – Please offer “FREE Play” as prizes, so much better than having to deal with paperwork for wins over ($600) in a tournament format. Martin (relatively new Sr in a tough Covid casino world).
