World traveller and 'junket' offers.......I can see how that played into your combining this 'hobby' into nice vacations......... I've only tried the old Vegas World one time. My highlights are via the Total Rewards Pgm, when it was more attractive as a new player in the past decade (even for Diamond). I have a friend who enjoyed the 7-star for a year or two, before things declined. My best 'comps' have been free stays at Harrah's Tahoe and in Reno. I used to love the old Circus-Circus poker room (closed). And now even Harrah's Reno is being sold. Things constantly change, but at least we have these memories. Thanks for sharing yours! And the MANY tips along the way that each of us can use, for whatever levels of player we are. Future? - TBD. Who knows how this Corona-Covid-19 era will end, and which casino-resorts will adjust and thrive vs barely survive. I don't think 'buffets' as they were will be around in the same way, at least not until a vaccination is developed. Thanks for the wonderful memories as we 'journeyed' with you and Brad in your adventures over the past 35 years, in your blogs, books and anywhere else you posted stories. PS- Glad to have 'reunited' with you a few times at the Gold Coast (Young at heart) days.........Martin of San Diego. Relatively 'new' (young) young at heart, lol! Who knew that turning 50 would generate so many perks (while they lasted). Only in Las Vegas.

Keep up the good work. I had never heard of the types of junkets you went on. As a VP player we do get offers from Harrah’s, have never taken one. Your BJ offers sound much more inviting. Look forward to the next installment!

Many great memories of meeting you and Brad over the years: at an LVA meet at Main Street Station, playing full pay DB at the Four Queens and playing those crazy Multistrike machines at Caesars Palace. Can't play VP but sure do like to remember all the good times. Please keep up the saga!

The stories are certainly worth the read. I'm particularly interested in hearing about some of your early VP plays. The days of overwhelming positive plays are long gone, but it would be interesting to hear about what they looking like during the 90's.

Thanks,
I am enjoying the story and so glad we met you while we were on vacation before you left Vegas in December.
With everything this year, and how the world can change so quickly, I am glad to see that back in the day you took a chance to have such wonderful "junket vacations" and such wonderful memories.
