I just saw a bright red Mercedes convertible parked in the Palms garage and it had the license plate FRUGAL that I have seen for years on your PT Cruiser. Hope I’m not being nosey, but did someone steal your plate or did you retire the Frugal Plum. I can’t imagine the Frugal Gamblers paying money for this car. I bet you won it in a casino drawing? Am I right?

Actually, believe it or not, we sometimes do spend real money. And remember I have never said “frugal” means “cheap.” Being frugal means getting good value for your money. And this car was a “steal.” The previous owners treated it like a baby and it looks just like it did when it was driven off the showroom floor. I think they only took it out of the garage for a couple of trips a week to their neighborhood casino!
And the Frugal Breeze is my present to Brad, an early 80th birthday gift – priceless!
