I don’t read just the newspaper looking for promotions. I read casino marquees as we drive by. I read signage whenever I’m in a casino. And I read e-mail from casinos.
I do the latter even when it is from a casino where we no longer play. Never know when a promotion will make it worth our while to go back. So, even though we don’t play at South Point any more, we both still get e-mails from them. Even I get one in my name although I am on their snail-mail no-mail list for free play and coupons. But I scan the e-mails just in case I see a worthwhile promotion. I see that, in addition to bonus points on Christmas, which I knew about from reading Scot Krause’s Bonus Point List, they have added the same promotion on December 22 for their 6th anniversary celebration – 5x for slots/2x for VP.
This promo doesn’t interest us at this time because we have enough other places to play where we can both get free play and that makes our pickup schedule more time-efficient. However, this is a great bonus for many VP players because South Point has a good selection of good games. So I hope that this will put more jingle in some of your pockets.
