Atlantic City – Then and Now

Atlantic City trip report coming when I “recover” from this cross-country jaunt.  But in the meantime, you can compare these two pictures taken at Caesars Atlantic City.  One was from our first trip there, in 1985.  The other was taken a few days ago.  How can 27 years pass so quickly!

Hope you had a good time, but I’ll bet you noticed how bad Caesars is letting AC become. They are very cheap and it shows.

Saw a fellow LV player for the second time in a week or so after a year or so disconnect. We’ve been acquainted for many years around the tables but we shared a bit more information that I hadn’t known.
In talking about our experiences, we came across an amazing small world item. He is from Trenton, NJ so it shouldn’t have been a complete surprise. Turns out both our first visits to Atlantic City, Resorts Int’l, were on Sunday, May 28, 1978, the casino’s opening weekend.
He shared some observations about players doing some incorrect things on the game without the staff calling them on it. I reminded him that there were a lot of “games” going on operations wise, that came out in later years.

Hope that you enjoyed your time there. We always have a good time when we go there.

What a good looking couple you are! And those young people from 1985 look pretty good, also. You two just keep on going and we love what you do and love to read about it. Thank you.
