September Vegas Promotions

Last month I talked about using the newspaper to look for casino offers, but recently I found a new resource that might help you avoid  dirty newsprint staining your hands. Go online to the R-J’s Marketplace Ad and Coupon Search, type in “casinos”, and you will find all sorts of lists, including inserts, coupons, ads, and even special sections.

Also here’s another hint to keep you up-to-date on multiple-point bonuses.  Don’t just check your casino mailer or consult Scot’s bonus-point section once and assume you have the “final” information.  I often criticize casinos for not planning their promotions far enough in advance, but recently some last-minute changes have pleased me.  The Gold Coast is a good example; they have been supersizing some of their bonus days after the monthly mailers have gone out.  Be sure to double-check the Labor Day weekend dates and Senior Mondays.

Another warning:   one must always watch for the fine print, this one from the Gold Coast:   “Young at Heart point multipliers are not available on floor wide point multiplier days.” That means that the 7x points on Labor Day trumps the senior 5x on Mondays – dashing the hopes for you who were thinking that you could double dip!!!!

TUSCANY

New days for our favorite promotions –  10x points is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  The popular gift card promotion continues but moves to Saturdays.  Same requirements:  1000 base points to get one $10 gift card, with a limit of 6 cards per customer.  You must earn the points on Saturday but you can pick up the cards on either Saturday or Sunday.

Wingo is on Tuesdays in September.  Earn 1 Wingo card for 200 base points and you can earn up to 3 cards per session.  You can start earning every Tuesday beginning at midnight for sessions at 2, 4, 6, and 8 p.m.

On September 6 and 20, you can earn beer, 300 base points for one six-pack, 4 max per customer.

PALMS

The Free Play choices for the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday “Play, Earn, and Win” Promotion was a nice change the last half of August, but now it is back to the earn-stuff option.

Every Sunday is a Spin&Win that doesn’t require any earned points.

“A Taste of the Palms” runs on September 6, 13, and 20^th.  Earn 25 slot points or 100 VP points to swipe and win food vouchers for various Palms eateries.  (Added note – this is only for Sterling Advantage 50+ memebers.)

PALACE STATION

Thursdays are Prize Days.  No points required; just swipe your boarding pass at any kiosk for a guaranteed prize of free slot play, food offers, free buffets, or free points.
