Why the sudden reversal you ask? Who knows! Maybe one of the powers-that-be noticed there was a scarity of customers on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday last week. Maybe someone felt bad about the customer inconvenience because of incorrect promotion information on their website for the first 4 days of the month. Maybe a casino sometimes really understands and cares about their customers.

I do wonder just how much direct (complaints) and indirect (people staying away) customer feedback matters to Stations and to locals casinos in general. We all know how lightning-fast they can be to yank a good promotion and how slow they can be to change something that sucks. Do we members of the proletariat have any leverage? And more narrowly, do LVA members’ expressed opinions carry any weight? We KNOW they read this and other blogs–if for no reason other than that mentioning a good play often coincides with its swift obliteration. So I wonder–if we LVAniks complain about something, are we the tree that falls in the forest with no one to hear it?
Anyway, thanks for the update, and I won’t melt my Stations player’s card in the microwave just yet.
