One would think they would report the disgust that some players have for their actions. By the way last trip I decided to watch other people play. They were far from playing a good strategy. I don't consider myself an expert or a great player either. But I watch a person just hold a single ace, unless they had at least a high pair and this was in BP. So except for professional teams, the casino take is a lot higher that the stated payback.

I recently commented on the fact that the Suncoast had a good promotion that was worth almost $50, even to a .25 player. 24 hours after this comment was posted here, the play was mostly destroyed by the Suncoast. Of course, this COULD be a coincidence, but...(and I think I'll mention that the promo is still viable if you play their 99.58% Triple Double Bonus, just to see if those games get torched as well as a result).
Casinos are now carefully, even to the extent of being paranoid, scrutinizing outside data (such as blog posts and message boards) in order to identify and destroy opportunities that are, by their definition, "too good" for the player. The result is that we can no longer share information without obliterating it as a result. This applies even to paid subscription blogs and boards--casinos think that it's money well spent to be able to lurk on such sites. There are at least two people who work fulltime for CET doing NOTHING BUT that.
So let's all just stay the hell out of casinos from now on. It's pretty much guaranteed that there will never be any such thing as decent value ever again. They have even abandoned any lingering, vestigial sense of ethics they may have had--as shown by the recent Tuscany free play fraud. Why patronize the businesses of these unethical, greedy, lying bastards? Let's spend our time and money doing something healthier, more fun, and less expensive. Every hour spent in a casino is one that could have been spent in the real world instead.

I can advise that my executive casino host at Harrah's has told me that Harrah's is reducing the amount of free play they offer their players. I'm Diamond and have noticed that my email offers for "stay and play" have dropped as a rule by $50.00. Also, at Casino Royale next door, they no longer give you $50 worth of free play on their regular machines and have dropped all the VP coupons, which used to be worth another $60.00 in cash for various "hits." They told me they did this now that they are a Best Western Plus destination...i.e. they no longer have to give out these freebies in order to maintain business. Ho, ho!

So, bottom line - I STILL PLAY at Casino Royale when I visit Harrah's BECAUSE I almost always win there. Last trip I won over $600 playing about 3 hours of VP. I also hit the 1,000 coin payoff playing quarter Wheel of Fortune. Not a lot of money, you may say, but it's all relative.

If it weren't for how my host at Harrah's treats me, I might not stay and play much longer. But he takes care of me the best he can, without my having to whine about anything. BUT.....DON'T EAT BREAKFAST THERE - they want $19.00 plus for a simple breakfast buffet. Outrageous.
