I agree with all of your Thankful posts, you may have retired from your first profession but continue to teach us with every blog. I am also thankful that you talk about Brad being your gaming companion and I am also thankful that a Vegas vacation is a much needed TOGETHER trip that my husband and I equally enjoy. While I and presumably just about everyone else have reasons to be thankful, my casino-related expression of thanks is specific:

Thank you, Vegas casino operators, for responding to the recession by cutting back service, increasing prices, and destroying all but a very few good games. Without these wise actions, Vegas would still be an attractive place to visit, and the congestion and crowding that six years ago, were threatening to turn Vegas into L.A. in the Desert would have overwhelmed the city. Also, I might have been tempted to move back there, and had I done so, I would probably be dead, as unhealthy as Vegas is.

So the stupidity of those who govern Vegas (the casinos) has saved both the city and my life! What could be better to be thankful for?
