On Saturday, April 6, 2013, the Clark County Library system is sponsoring, for the 5th year, the Spring Fling Book Fair at the Clark County Library on 1401 E. Flamingo Road. Scheduled from 11am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-3pm, around 100 local authors will be at tables, ready to talk about and offer for sale their book(s). I will be there as a part of a Huntington Press contingent and I will be very happy to meet and talk to old and new frugalite friends. Come and chat, whether you are an experienced gambler looking for new ideas or a novice who is beginning his study to become a wiser casino visitor. Bring your dog-eared Frugal books if they need an autograph. Or, if you need to add to your gambling book collection, there will be the opportunity to buy books and have them personally autographed right on the spot.
Also on this day will be entertaining acts in the Main Theater of the library, including a Hollywood authors panel, a spirit guide channeling session by Las Vegas psychic intuitive Gregory Kompes, and a classical/jazz fusion music concert by Cirque du Soleil musician Shana Tucker. As with all library sponsored events, the book fair and entertainment will be free admission and open to the general public.
Oh man, bummer for us…..my family and I go to Vegas every Spring Break (first week in April), but staying home that week to have a BIG Yard Sale, which is WAY over due. Gonna be there in early August, so maybe we’ll run into you then.
Ah too bad, going to miss you by a week, darn! The wife and I will be there on April 13-17th and very sorry we are going to miss this chance to meet you.
