I never have had any problem with the “sleaze”. That’s what Vegas is FOR. Complaining about the risque in Vegas is like complaining about the snow in Buffalo, or the humidity in Miami, or all that country music in Nashville. It’s part of the scene, in other words, and easily enough avoided–by not going there in the first place.

I actually think that Vegas should EMBRACE its reputation–and its function–as a place where adults go to misbehave and all the rules are different. If I want non-drunk people and an absence of porn shops, Salt Lake City is just up the road.

Most of us are in the middle between trashy cheap and overpriced snooty. Seems like Vegas forgot that.

I hope they bring some class back. I might be the exception, not the rule but I feel I shouldn’t have to dodge the sleazy sexy or the sidewalk hawkers to get to the next casino. It does feel like L A with all the spanish speaking folk and the youth running around with their waistlines hanging around their knees. Too much vice on a city created by vice.
