I don’t know why you were told that Cherokee is phasing out their VP. Although they have a monster slot inventory, there are many many VP machines, albeit mostly with low EV paytables unless you pick the higher denominations. Check out vpFREE2 to see their best choices.

Last year, we called Cherokee for reservations. When we asked about their video poker and how many machines they had, we were told that they were phasing out their video poker. We’d love to go there for a few days … but not unless there are enough decent machines to make the trip from Wisconsin worthwhile.

Glad you had a great trip, I am sure you are glad to be home in the warmer weather.
We had the reverse when we left Vegas mid month (53 degrees) and landed in CT at 7 degrees and a wind chill of -7. Merry Christmas!!
