Sounds good to me. We arrive in Vegas on May 4 and we
might just try the buffet promo if it is still going on.
I especially like the idea of spreading it over 2 days.

A buffet that you can utilize at all of Harrah’s
properties sounds like a great idea. We leave for
Vegas on May 4 and will certainly consider this deal.

This is not great deal. The line-up for the people that buy the ‘deal’ was 30-45 minutes long at Caesar’s. You walked right in of your paid extra or regular price.

For my wife to get a seat for breakfast at Paris she had to pay an extra $7.00 in addition to the ‘deal’.

Unless you eat at odd hours or don’t mind a long wait it is better to pay full price.

Ha! It appears that my projection about how long it would take them to hike the price by $10 was a major overestimation! (Though I guess it should be noted that the price hike is “only” $5 for TR members.)

Going in 2 weeks and can’t wait. Noon to Noon best times. The Stratsophere gave me a freebie last Dec and it was great. At first I thought I would get tired(too much of the same) but it worked out great. I plan on visiting all 7 buffets in 24 hours. The trick is to walk the strip for exercise and then you can really eat. 🙂

Some friends just left town and took “advantage” of this deal for one day (they were staying at the Flamingo anyway). Their experience was not a good one; they reported that Harrah’s was not prepared for the response to this promo and that the lines were 2-3 hours long at each property they visited. In the end, they only used it for breakfast (they wanted to gamble – not stand in long lines), so it ended up costing them $29.99 each for a breakfast buffet (a terrible deal at any HET property).

I really like this promo because the buffets have distinctly different characters, like the French food at Paris or the Middle Eastern food at Spice Market. Of course, every buffet will carve you a slab of roast beast and smother you in desserts, but I’ve found that what gets me to go to a given buffet is whatever is different from the norm.
At LAST, a positive effect of the Borg having assimilated almost the entire Las Vegas strip! (Of course, the price for this will be $39.99 by the beginning of summer, but hey, it’s a bargain for now.)
The only negative consequence I can foresee is all the people exploding as they try to get their full 24 hours’ worth.

While it seems like a good deal, there are two lines at the Buffets. One for people paying regular price and one for the people that bought the buffet deal. At Caesar’s if you paid the full price you went to the head of the line. The people who bought the ‘deal’ were in line for at least 30 – 45 minutes before they could get in. My wife was able to get in quickly at Paris for breakfast by paying an extra $7.00 on top of the price for the 24 hour buffet.

This is actually a rip-off and I would not recommend it unless you want to wait in line at meal hours. Having to pay extra to get in quickly really takes the cake.
