Harrah's has a separate line for Diamond and Seven Stars at the main entrance to the buffet, so there is still no wait. This is the same as the Forrest Buffet at Lake Tahoe. Still preferred seating.

Regarding points, we simply charge everything to the room and then let our executive casino host use our points and then comp everything else. Although we are low Diamond, we still get our food comped as long as we are not extravagant. We always eat one meal in Ruth's Chris, but otherwise we "buffet", eat the Oyster Bar, or in the singer's bbq joint. Further, we play enough next door at Casino Royale to get a meal comped in the Outback upstairs. Doesn't take much play there to accumulate enough points for two full meals. I wouldn't forget that Diamond and higher always get two show tickets free every month - usually about 12 choices on this. Yes, it was nice in the "old days" to simply play some and ask for a comp, but we go with the flow.
